MEMBERSHIP TYPES

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP - Your dues of just $35.00 will cover the cost of your membership for a full calendar year as a Member-At-Large for your state. ($1.98 of your membership dues goes toward your VFW magazine subscription.)

LIFE MEMBERSHIP - Show your support to service members, veterans and their families by becoming a VFW Life Member. An easy, one-time payment solidifies your membership for life, or take advantage of our convenient installment plan.

LEGACY LIFE MEMBERSHIP - When you become a Legacy Life Member, you are helping us strengthen the VFW. Future generations will know and remember you for the sacrifices you made during your time in uniform in addition to the contributions you made as a VFW Legacy Life Member. Each level offers generous benefits reserved exclusively for members of this status.

ELIGIBILITY

The fundamental difference between our organization and other veterans organizations, and one in which we take great pride, is our eligibility qualifications.

VFW welcomes all who meet our eligibility criteria. It's through service to this country that all our membership has earned their elite status.

If you have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay, then you're eligible to join our ranks.

We will need a copy of your DD214 if you are out of the service. If you are still serving a copy of your ERB should work. Your membership dues will support the VFW mission to serve and represent our veterans at the local, state and national level. Join now, and your membership will be valid for a full calendar year.
